SAVING ACCOUNT CAN BE OPENED UNDER THE FOLLOWING SCHEMES
• SBBAS – Saving Bank – Basic Saving Account
• SBCHQ – Saving Bank –With Cheque Book
• SBGEN – Saving Bank – Without Cheque Book
• SBPEN – Saving Bank – Pensioners With Cheque Book
• SBPWC – Saving Bank – Pensioners Without Cheque Book
• SBSAN – Saving Bank – Sanchayika With Cheque Book
• SBSWC – Saving Bank - Sanchayika Without Cheque Book
Scheme SBCHQ, SBGEN and SBBAS- (General Scheme with or without ChequeBook – Schemes SBBAS, SBGEN and SBCHQ form one Group.
Customer can have only one single account as Primary holder with two Joint Accounts. There can be Maximum 2 joint holder in addition to the Primary holder
Scheme SBPEN and SBPWC – (Scheme for Pensioner with or without Cheque Book)- NO Cash deposit is allowed and NO credits are permitted other than Pension. This account is NOT eligible for any repayment of TD/MIS/SCSS schemes. ONLY withdrawals are permitted from this account. Only ONE account is permitted (both scheme put together) and there should be only one joint account holder (may / may not require by the customer) for this pension account and that can be spouse only..
Scheme SBSAN and SBSWC (Sanchayika with Cheque Bookand Without ChequeBook -Both the scheme put together customer can open only ONE account. There should be minimum of one primary holder who should be a teacher of the institution/School/College and two joint holder (Students) with minimum age of 10 year of age to open the account. There can be only one Sanchayika account (per CIF id)for one institution / college / school. Compulsory "Resolution from School Mgmt." document to be collectedduring account opening
