Google activates 3.7 million Android devices over Christmas, but Apple still wins
Not long ago, Google revealed that it is activating 700,000 Android devices per day. Well, Christmas has been kind to Android. Andy Rubin, head of Android, Tweeted that 3.7 million Android devices were activated on Dec. 24-25, meaning a lot of people got new phones for Christmas.
iOS Christmas activations may be even higher, at least in the US. According to data released by Flurry, which tracks activations through the 140,000 apps that use its analytics service, 6.8 million new iOS and Android devices were activated on Christmas Day alone, meaning that unless iOS and Android posted incredibly small and disproportionate activation numbers on Christmas Eve, iOS likely posted a lot more activations than Android. Even if Google had 80 percent of its Dec. 24-25 activations on Christmas Day, that means that it only activated about 3 million devices, which would then leave 3.8 million for iOS. It’s likely, however, that Apple’s lead is more substantial. Again though, our data is far from complete.

On 27.12.2011, Discussion on 25 point Charter of Demands has been held with the Postal Board -Member (Personnel), Member (Operations), Member (PLI) and Member (Planning). The discussion lasted for eight hours. Even though the staff side has elaborately explained all the demands raised in the Charter, there was no favourable or result-oriented settlement on any of the demands. Thereafter the Central JCA met and decided to go ahead with the strike decision. It is decided to intensify the campaign. Accordingly the Central JCA calls upon all the Branch/Divisional/Circle Union to organize MASS Dharna in front of all Circle/Regional/Divisional offices on 10.01.2012. It is also decided to organize candle-light protest demonstration/procession/rallies on all important places on 16.01.2012. Further all intensive campaign such as squad work, conventions, general bodies, press conferences etc may be organized at all levels. Make the indefinite strike from 17.01.2012 a historic success.

How to turn off your computer immediately and safely
Does you computer takes too much time to turn off? If yes, you are not the only user. Let me tell you the way to turn off your computer immediately. Don't worry, this method is totally safe and harmless.
- Open the task manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del key.
- Now press Alt + U. Your shut down menu will open.
- Now keep pressing Ctrl key and then click on Turn Off menu. Your computer will turn off within 3 seconds. Just try it
