Technological Problems That Can Be Solved In A Few Minutes

You must have undergone through technological problems somewhere or other while using the electronic gadgets. Some can be solved easily and others will lead you to experts.  Let us see some easy but effective ways to deal with some technological problems that can disturb us at any time.

Free Alternatives For Expensive Software: All of us are familiar with Microsoft. Considered as the best office suite but Microsoft is not affordable for everyone. The best alternative available for Microsoft is Apache Open Office (AOO), which is an open-source office productivity software suite. Apache Open Office contains a word processor, a spreadsheet, a presentation application, a drawing application, a formula editor, and a database management application. Adobe Photoshop is software that everybody is willing to have in their PC or laptop but again, it is not so affordable. PhotoScape can be best alternative for adobe Photoshop.  PhotoScape is a graphic editing program that provides a simple user interface to perform common photo enhancements including color adjustment, cutting, resizing, printing and GIF animation.

Long Life Of Your Mobile Battery: Today everybody is crazy about smart phones but they are: compelled to buy a power bank along with it. There were days when one use to charge the cell phone once in two days but now the battery do not last even for a day. It is very important for a Smartphone user to know how to conserve the battery. The most important way is to keep the phone on auto brightness, turn off the connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, location service and weather service. Close unnecessary apps that simply consume the power running in the background.

In case of phone cameras, you don’t need flash when clicking outdoor so switch off the flash. You may keep it on auto so that it will use flash only when necessary.

Smart Consumption Of Data: Smart phones, perhaps, consumes lot of data but you can always put a stop over it. Most of the apps like Facebook, twitter, messenger and whatsapp/BMM are all time running apps that also consumes huge amount of data to refresh them. You can schedule data fetches for every hour. Another way of reducing data consumption is to use web browser, which is less data consuming, as opera mini opens a web page after 90 percent completion but UC browser reduce it by 60 percent. IOS phones are available with the tracking data consumption facility. An android phone will show you the alert as you approach limit as it has an option of setting the data limit.

Save Power Consumption!: PCs are available with a power saver option but you should know how to use it. You can find the power saver option in control panel. Set power save option on PC. Set a time for it to go on sleep mode. The ideal time is 20 minutes, in case you want to turn off the hard disk too set it beyond 90 minutes. When you leave your computer for virus scan or large files download at night select the option to shut down the computer after the processes are done. Turn off the speakers when not in use. Do not use screen saver instead set it on sleep mode.

Speed For Your Smartphone and PCs: Smart phone supports active multitasking, where apps continue to work in background. This slows down your phone. To make your phone run with speed properly—exit the apps. Keep transferring files like images, music and videos from your device memory to the memory card regularly. Similarly, PCs also get slow because of too much of memory used. PCs tend to accumulate temporary files from the pages you visit. To remove these files open Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup to find and delete unwanted files. The process takes some time when done for the first time so try doing it regularly. You can also install programmers like CCleanup that cleans the unwanted files on scheduled interval. Defragment disk once in three months.
