How To Protect Your Computer From Nasty Viruses

In this 21st century, where the rosy dream of man of push button life has come true, LIFE=COMPUTER. Every work is done on computer. How do you work on computer..?? Are you one of those who randomly clicks of any & every link on the internet..?? Do you connect all the external devices to their system..?? If yes, then is your system protected..??
When viewed independently, just from the security point of view, Internet is totally an unsafe & violated area. Even attaching external devices can create a lot of trouble. A contaminated pen drive can spread viruses all over your system & damage it. Hence to protect your system, you need antivirus protection. But if you care for your computer & if you are using a free antivirus program, installation of just a free antivirus program is not sufficient as it doesn’t provide all features of security to you. Thus you need to buy antivirus programs. But still if you are ready to take risk & go for free programs; then do use your computer with lot of intelligence.

The hackers are the people who have dedicated their lives for disturbing others, thus every morning a new virus is created. Several Internet users are attacked using various techniques such as key logging, phishing etc… By these attacks, viruses enter your computer & send your private & confidential data to unknown databases over the internet. Thus don’t click on any random links on Internet. Do check for “s” in “https” if you are browsing on a confidential site, such as paypal.com or any sites of banks etc…
At times when your computer becomes unusually slow or your system suddenly keeps restarting or if your bandwidth is consumed more than what you think you have used… then these should be the red alerts for you. Immediately update your antivirus program & scan your whole system. Even boot time scan is advisable. Also install a firewall program. A firewall is a sits between your computer & the public network ie Internet. Firewall is basically installed to stop viruses to enter in your system by the way of unauthorized access.
May Internet be unsafe & risky, but you can surely protect & cure yourself. Do install best Anti Virus for windows & other best security software’s such as firewalls, key scramblers etc… & most important thing, don’t forget to update these software’s & your OS too. Wish you a safe journey on Internet! :-)
