All About Passwords

password is a secret word or string of characters that is used for authentication, to prove identity or gain access to a resource. A bad password is any password composed of common words or names, particularly if the password is short. And a good password is a long random sequence of characters – letters, numbers and any special characters is a good password. The best passwords are made up of completely random characters and as long as you can make it.
Passwords are like Underwear’s
  • Change Yours Often.
  • Do Not Share Them With Anyone.
  • Be Mysterious.
  • The Longer The Better.
  • Do Not Leave Yours Lying Around.
So, Keep your password hidden.

Creating strong passwords for all your online accounts is not a thing you should do. It is a thing you must do. A strong password should consists of –
  • special characters such as @#$%^&.
  • least 8 characters long.
  • It must not have any common words such as 123, password, your birth date, your login name and any words that can be found in the dictionary.
  • a variation of capitalization and small letters.

Even if your password consists of the above, it is still not enough. Your password needs to be totally unique and different for each and every one of your online accounts. This is to make sure that in the event that one account is hacked into, your other accounts will not be affected.
Here is a very good site which will help you to Generate Strong Passwords..
