Create a Desktop App of your favorite website using Chrome

Google Chrome browser lets you create an application shortcut for your favorite website on your Windows desktop. If you like to ‘dedicatedly’ and regularly browse one or more websites frequently, you may find this built-in feature useful, as it lets you browse the website or blog without stealing any focus.

Create a Desktop App of your favorite website using Chrome

To create a desktop apps – of sorts – for your favorite website, first visit the website. As an example, lets take http://bnjho.blogspot.in/
Once the website is loaded, click on the Customize & control Chrome button > Tools > Create application shortcut.
You will be asked if you would like to create the application shortcut on your Desktop and if you would like to pin it to the taskbar, as well.

Make your choice and click on Create.
You will now see the icons of the created shortcuts on you desktop as well as the taskbar.
Click on it to get a dedicated browsing experience for the website.
You will not find any buttons or add-ons to help navigation – just a clean Chrome window.
Enjoy!
