OPENING A INDIVIDUAL MINOR ACCOUNT AGE MORE THAN 10 YEAR : FINACLE SOLUTION

In Finacle Date of Birth is mandatory Field. If Age is less than 18 years, The Account is treated as Minor and Guardian CIF becomes necessary in Account opening. According to POSB rules A child, age of 10 years can open the Account self. The following steps are to be taken in this condition.

1. There is no need to fill the Guardian Detail in AOF
2. Signature and Photo of Minor should be pasted in AOF.
3. First Create Minor CIF and write this CIF ID in AOF as Depositor CIF
4. In Guardian Detail, Please use unique Guardian CIF 300668762.
5. The mode of operation should be ''self''
6. CPC will use the Minor CIF ID in Datacap.
7. Note :- The Unique Guardian CIF ID Shows following Details:-

Last Name/Short Name - GUARDIAN
DOB - 01/07/1960
Document Type - ADPRF with unique ID 3 Dec 2014 email.
Document Code - PSBID
Nationality - Indian
Tax Deduction At Source - NOTAX
