Samsung announces metal-bodied Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 selfie phones

Samsung Galaxy A5

Samsung confirmed some previous rumors today by announcing two new handsets. The Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 are brand new devices featuring the company’s recent focus on metal design and aimed at young consumers.
Lots of industry watchers have speculated that Samsung would be launching mid and low-end versions of its aluminium-bodied flagship, the Galaxy Alpha.

Samsung Galaxy A3

The Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 are supposedly aimed at young people with an emphasis on social networking and selfies. The phones themselves are very thin, the thinnest Samsung devices to date, and the company has jumped on the bandwagon by adding capable front-facing cameras to its devices and marketing them to millennials as “selfie phones”.
