Google Releases Play Store Version 5.0 With Material Design

With Android L’s launch looming around the corner, Google has announced the latest version of Play Store that will compliment their upcoming mobile platform with its Material Design Elements. The roll out has already begun and the update will be made available in phases.


Google Play Store v5.0.31 comes with a refined, modern and good-looking icons, various new Material Design UI menus and windows providing an easy access.


You can’t miss the “What’s New” section as this page is now highlighted in green, and there are various new icons for Play Store Widgets and you will be updated with an improved update notification icon with multiple bug fixes.


The update also features a redesigned sidebar and the back button is also a back arrow that looks similar to the Android L’s back navigation key. The update is available for all Android users and devices, but if missed out, you can download the APK installation file available on net; as the updated version of the Google Play Store is yet to reach India.


With notable changes in colors, and patterns and vivid new design, Google Play Store is mesmerizing already, though you need to wait a bit more for availability of the full version.
