Samsung announces Galaxy Note 4‏

Galaxy Note 4

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Note 4, one of the biggest smartphones the South Korean giant will ship this year, both in terms of size and stock. The Galaxy Note 4 was part of a launch lineup at IFA that consisted of the Galaxy Note Edge, Gear VR and Gear S.
The Galaxy Note 4 looks to set straight some of the issues of the Galaxy Note 3. The design is the first point – Samsung has added a metal frame on the side, dropped the faux leather stitching and offered the same front face.
This sounds like a minimal change, but the metal (actual metal) frame works wonders, the Galaxy Note 4 feels heavier and premium, which is more than can be said for the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S5, two full plastic devices.

Internally, the Galaxy Note 4 is a beast, starting with the 5.7-inch QHD display. This is the best display on the market, few can match it, and since it is Super AMOLED, it just looks gorgeous, perfect for video and photo.
Users will get a choice of processors depending on region, either the 2.5GHz Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 805 or the octa-core Exynos 6. This will come alongside 3GB of RAM and Adreno 420 GPU.
The 16MP camera is a big upgrade on the predecessor as well, now coming with optical image stabilization for less stutter in photos. Samsung has improved the light quality and photos in dark places, making this an optimal camera for all situations.
Software running on the Galaxy Note 4 at launch will be Android KitKat 4.4.4, although an upgrade to Android L should not be far off. This is hidden under the familiar layer of TouchWiz UI, which Samsung slaps on all of their Android devices.
The Galaxy Note 4 will be available worldwide in the next few months.
