Kloudless is a free to use web service made for Gmail users whose favorite browser is Google Chrome. The function of this service is to help you automatically create a backup of the files that you are emailed to your Gmail address. The backup is created on the various cloud services that the extension supports, as an addon for the Google Chrome web browser.
When you install the extension, you are first required to connect your Gmail account with it. The next step is to connect one or more of your cloud service accounts.
So far, the extension supports Dropbox, Box, and Google Drive. These two steps are completed in the setup process of the extension. The final step is to set rules for automatically creating a backup for the attachments. You can have a maximum of 10 rules for attachment handling; perhaps this limit will be removed once the service exits public beta.
You can create separate rules for particular types of extension i.e. ones that have a certain file name. You can also set backup rules according to the sender of the email, the recipient of the email, and the subject of the email. With these settings done, you will be able to easily back up your Gmail attachments to your cloud services.
The extension supports a manual backup as well – a technique in which you open up a Gmail account and click on a button near to the file attachments to send them to your cloud service through Kloudless. Files can be attached as well through access control settings.
