SpeedNet Version 4.3 Released by CEPT

SpeedNet V4.3 Dated 14.10.2015

Setup Of Speed Net V4.3 Contains
  1. SpeedOne Installer :  for fresh installation of SpeedNet Version 4.3
  2. SpeedOne Updater :  for upgrading to SpeedNet Version 4.3 from SpeedNet 4.2.
  3. Documents:  Read me file and Check List.

Instructions for upgrading the application

  • Take a print out of the check list and fill up response for each action.
  • Take full backup of existing databases (i.e., POSPCC and POSPCCBACKUP).
  • Download the file SpeedOne Updater.exe
  • Copy the SpeedOne Updater.exe to the SpeedNet folder on client system.
  • Run the SpeedOne Updater.exe with administrative rights. Watch for successful execution of each script and update the check list simultaneously.
  • Run SpeedNet Communication immediately after upgradation in any one client system.  (Whenever SpeedNet 4.3 is installed in any client, it will attempt to upgrade the database at Server.  Therefore, if SpeedNet is installed in more than one client, it will repeat upgradation of database at server.   To prevent this repeated action run SpeedNet communication immediately after upgradation in the first client.  ) This also ensures that version upgradation status messages are created and transmitted to central server for reflection in Speednet MIS.
