Millions of people have installed Windows 10 on their computers and laptops, upgrading for free from Windows 7/8/8.1 or buying a license for it. With this free media player, which was created by VideoLAN, you will be able to open pretty much every media type. The application supports all kinds of audio and video compression methods and it also has streaming protocols, being able to stream media over computer networks.

This free music player was created by Piotr Pawlowski and it was launched in December 2002. It has a highly modular design and the interface is customizable, plus there are plenty features for organizing metadata, files and folders.
Paint.NET
This is an excellent replacement for the Microsoft Paint program, being initially created by Rick Brewster as a Washington State University student project. This editor has support for layers, transparency, it offers plugins, and the interface is intuitive.
Notepad++
As you already guessed, this is a replacement for the Microsoft Notepad program, but it’s superior, because it provides a better experience, thanks to its additional features: tabbed editing, document mapping, auto completion etc.
