Chrome App Launcher gives you instant access to Google services like Chrome store, Gmail, Google Drive and more, right from your taskbar. Using Chrome app Launcher is dead simple. Just click on the dock icon and a pop-up menu comes up displaying the apps it currently has installed.
Each app can be opened in its own window outside of Chrome, just like any normal desktop program then. Most apps you will find under the program are connected to the cloud so, they quietly update themselves on suitable occasions. Moreover, the apps are synced across your devices, thereby helping you pick up your work, where you last left off.
To grab Chrome App Launcher, open Google Chrome and enter the launcher link in the Web store. Click on the button to Get the launcher. Once done, the app launcher will be available as an icon on the taskbar.
Managing Chrome App Launcher
Please note that Chrome App Launcher requires you to sign in to Chrome to enable apps that need access to your Google account. When you download a new app that is supported by App launcher, it too will be seen under the App Launcher menu.
Should you wish to disconnect the Google account, simply hit the ‘Settings’ button and hit the ‘Disconnect your Google account’ tab. The feature is useful since it enables you to sync apps and other settings across computers.
For adding more apps, just hit the Chrome Web Store button in your apps list and explore the apps in the store.
To remove an app, right-click the app and select Remove from Chrome.
Confirm the action when prompted.
To find an app, type the name of the desired app into the search box and select your app (with its icon) from the search results.
If you would like to adjust your app elsewhere from the default location, click and hold an app and move it to adjust its position in your apps list.
Get Chrome App Launcher from the Chrome Web Store. The Chrome Web Store now has apps that you can run right on your Windows desktop.
