In this post we will see how to log into multiple accounts using Multifox for Firefox or MultiLogin for Chrome. You can use these browser extensions to log into multiple Gmail, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, Dropbox, Hotmail, Tumblr, or any other site.
Log into multiple accounts
Sure, you can use another browser for another account, browse using the Private Browsing or the Incognito Mode and opening a private tab, or create separate profiles if your browser permits – but using these browser extensions, makes things easier. Gmail users can of course use the built in Google Account Chooser feature too. Microsoft however, stopped supporting linked accounts for Outlook.com last year.
We have already seen how to log into multiple accounts with Internet Explorer on Windows, using the -nomerge switch. Now let’s have a look at how to do it with Firefox and Chrome.
Multifox for Firefox
Multifox is a Firefox extension that lets users using the browser connect to websites using different user names, at the same time. For instance, if you have multiple Outlook.com accounts, you can log into them simultaneously and open them at the same time, without interfering with each others operations. Firefox users can get it from Mozdev.
MultiLogin for Chrome
MultiLogin for Chrome works in a similar fashion as it adds a button to the browsers address bar. Using MultiLogin, you can log into multiple accounts on the same site simultaneously. This browser extension is free for personal use.
