5 Must Watch Movies For Kids This Summer

In India adults have no limits when it comes to watching movies but at the same time kids are mostly refrained from watching. There is a wrong perception among the parents in today’s date that, if their children watch any bollywood movie they will not gain any knowledge, instead their concentration will be diverted from their studies. But this conception is not fully correct as now Bollywood is not all about romance and action thrillers. There are also some good movies that kids can watch with fun and learn simultaneously.

Here are some of the Bollywood films that you can enjoy watching with your kids this summer. Some are light and funny and some more substantial.

1. Bhootnath Returns: Bhoothnath Returns is one of the best films for kids to watch this summer. It is an Indian horror comedy film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced jointly by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Ravi Chopra.
This film is a sequel to 2008 film Bhoothnath, the film features Amitabh Bachchan in a leading role followed by Parth Bhalerao (kid in the film) and Boman Irani in a supporting role. The movie is filled with comedy but also has a message in it. The story is about Bhootnath (Amitabh Bacchan) who is taunted by other ghosts in the ghost world as he was not able to scare a kid on earth. This time Bhootnath returns with a mission to scare kids. And this time, he meets Akhrot the only kid who can see Bhoothnath. But soon, they become friends and decide to fight against the country's most powerful and corrupt politician. So now you can decide after seeing the movie if ghost wins the battle.

2. Taare Zammen Par: Taare Zammen Par is an extremely brilliant and heart touching movie for kids to watch. This movie shows the journey of a 8 year old boy Ishaan Awasthi who is struggling with dyslexia until, he meet his exuberant art teacher -
Ram Shankar Nikumbh in his life. Some kids might get sad seeing the movie as the boy in the movie goes through some tough times being pressurized by his parents and the school authorities. But the movie on the whole  is on a positive, optimistic and inspiring note. The movie is not just filled with sad scenes but it has nice tickly songs like “Bum Bum Bole” which the kids will enjoy more. The movie deals with a sensitive issue beautifully and every child will relate to it instantly. This is a must watch movie for your kids this summer.
