Google has released the Chromecast its TV product in India at a price of Rs.2999, though people know about its features or followed its release some are still confused as to its working. Means literally what is its use, how to use it, which devices does it support or which thing are required prior to its buy.

Google’s Chromecast is not something a supermodel which can change dimensions or something, its just a TV extension like a dongle which requires a HDMI port in your TV to start its use.

It is not self powered, it needs to be connected by a cable also it requires a Wi-Fi connection without which it is of no use.

It wirelessly connects to your TV through the HDMI port, you need to download chromecast app so to make use of the dongle-alike. The app is available for Android and iOS platforms for your mobile, tablet or computer.

The chromecast is not like a must-have device, without it also  there would be not much difference in enjoying your video view. But if you are gadget fanatic and can fetch 3000 then it could be your first choice.
