Saygus V2: The Phone With "Bada" Storage

This year CES edition extended its invites to Smartphone players like Asus, Lenovo and LG. However, Saygus, a rather unfamiliar name bagged the spotlight with its V2 (V Squared) Smartphone that showcased top of the bill specifications and unique features, reports TOI.


The Saygus V2 is a well designed Smartphone that sports a kevlar shell, magnesium frame and aluminum rim. The gadget at 141grams is featured in white or black back panel (optional) that comes with a matte finish, textured design pattern and bonus graphics.


Saygus V2 The back panel is detachable and covers the battery section that houses a 3100mAh removable battery, a sim card slot and two microSD card slots each of which can hold up to 128GB. The whole right frame of the phone features hardware buttons like the volume rocker, power, camera shutter, a fingerprint sensor and a 60GHz mobile beaming transmitter.


To make matters interesting, the phone is IPx7 is water resistant too and can be immersed up to 1 metre of water for a good 30 minutes.
The bottom side  of the device fits a 3.5mm headset jack and a micro-USB port whereas the top edge has an infrared sensor. To some extent, the surface of the phone is curved near the bottom and has a visibly large Harmon Kardon speaker with the other speaker situated near the ear piece.


The display panel features slim bezels and sports a 5-inch full HD  display with a resolution of 1920x1080p borderless screen. The panel is guarded by the most recent Gorilla Glass 4, thereby giving off a vibrant look with wide viewing angles. Other feature includes a 21MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 13MP front-facing camera.. According to Saygus, the V2 is the first Smartphone model to sport Optical Image Stabilisation on the front and rear camera.


As far as the hardware is concerned, the phone is powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with a  3GB of RAM.  The Saygus V2 
saygushas 64GB of internal storage memory which also allows two 128GB microSD cards to be put into the phone expanding the capacity to 320GB, Considered the highest now. The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.


Based in the U.S., Saygus currently has no plans to get the V2 to the Indian markets. The best part is that, the company is expected to price the phone 20 percent lesser than the other flagship ones and will ship into the markets in the first quarter of 2015.
