After months of rumors, it's finally here - the DROID Turbo. This handset will be Verizon's flagship Android device for 2014 and will have some of the best hardware that is currently available. But more importantly, Motorola claims that it will last up to two days on a single charge with normal use.
While it's certainly a hefty claim and definitely will be looked at with a bit of skepticism, Motorola has every right to be confident considering the DROID Turbo will pack a monstrous 3900mAh battery. Although this isn't the largest battery that has been introduced into a smartphone, it is 400mAh larger than last year's DROID MAXX.
The DROID Turbo will come in a 32GB option, retail for $199 with a two-year contract, and be available in three colors: Metallic Black, Metallic Red or Ballistic Nylon. Verizon will also have a 64GB option available in Ballistic Nylon for $249 with a two-year contract. The device will launch on October 30th, 2014.
