Lenovo has announced its latest machine ThinkPad 10 tablets, for enterprise customers. The leading hardware manufacturer brand also launched a redesigned ThinkStation P300 workstation. The Lenovo ThinkPad 10 tablet is priced at $599 and will hit the market shelves anytime now, in the month of June.
Lenovo ThinkPad 10 Tablet
The company claims that the ThinkPad 10 is a premium multimode business tablet and will provide a full PC experience to the users. Made with high quality aluminum, this tablet ca also be converted into a laptop when attached with a keyboard. The keyboard for ThinkPad is available separately at a price of $129. A Compact Bluetooth keyboard case is also available for $119. The Bluetooth keyboard has touch-sensitive flat keys similar to the Touch Cover for Microsoft’s Surface tablets.
The tablet features a 10” full HD Gorilla glass display and boasts a digitizer pen same as that available with Surface Pro 2. The latest Lenovo tablet is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3795 processor clocked at 1.6GHz. The tablet weighs approximately 589 grams.
Other salient features of ThinkPad 10 include:
- 2GB/4GB RAM
- 64GB/128GB storage
- 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera
- MicroSD card expandability
- Standard connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, 3G/ 4G LTE, HDMI-out, and one USB 2.0 port.
Lenovo ThinkStation 300
The redesigned ThinkStation P300 tablet comes with a new chassis with an improved handling and intuitive touch points. The new workstation from Lenovo is powered with Intel Xeon E3-1200v3 and 4th Generation Intel Core processors. ThinkStation P300 also features FLEX module which supports a 29-in-1 card reader, an ultra-slim optical drive, IEEE 1394 Firewire and eSata.
Other salient features of Lenovo ThinkStation P300 include:
- Intel HD 4600 Graphics.
- Extended lip design
- ECC memory support
Professional workstation users run very advanced, specialized applications. The ThinkStation P300 features the processing power, graphics capabilities and ISV certifications, needed to run these applications smoothly,” said Victor Rios, vice president and general manager, Workstation, Lenovo in the official blog post. Lenovo ThinkStation P300 will be available in the market in June with a price tag of $729 in tower and SFF models.
