[Fix] Folder Options Is Not Available (Removed By Virus) In Tools Menu!

Some viruses will remove our Folder Options from both Control Panel and Tools Menu. In this tutorial, I will teach you how to get back Folder Options which is disabled or removed by a virus

• First, type gpedit.msc in Run and press OK
• Group Policy Editor is now open
• Expand the tree as shown in the image below

• In the right panel you can see an option named Removes the Folder Options menu item from the Tools Menu
• It will be Enabled as shown in the image below

• Double Click to open it
• Under Setting tab, set the option Disabled

• Press OK twice
• You’re Done…!

Or, you can use the following method also:

• Open Run… and type regedit
• Press OK
• Navigate to the following two locations:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer

• You can see a key named NoFolderOptions in each directories
• Delete them by Right Clicking on it

• You’re Done…!
