How to Uninstall Internet Explorer from Windows ?


The following Steps are for all Windows including Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Windows 8.
1. Open Control Panel and go to Add/Remove Programs and then on the left hand side you will see an option saying “Turn Windows feature on or off”. Click on that.

1. Click on Start Button and go to Run. Or directly open run by pressing Windows + R buttons together. Now type in there appwiz.cpl  and press Enter. This will open the Add/Remove Programs Window. Now on the

2. Now a Window will open with several Program Names and a tick in front of some and no tick in front of others. Those features which are enabled will have a tick in front of them and those which are not enabled will not have a tick in the check-box  Now here find Internet Explorer and remove the tick from the check-box in front of Internet Explorer. The Computer will ask you if you really want to disable Internet Explorer. Click on Yes.

3. Now click on OK. And let Window do its work. After a minute or two Internet Explorer will be Disabled and the Windows may ask you to restart the Computer. Voila After restarting your PC Internet Explorer would have been removed from your Computer.
