How secured are the web applications?

There are loop holes to everything; the worst among them is the internet. The internet is so vulnerable that hackers are able to access just about any information that they want. The thing with web security is that both sides of the loop can be contained;

Meaning that with smart codes hackers can be kept out but at the same time with some tricks hackers can crack the security firewall. So, how do you feel safe in a world where all information is available online? Here are some points to keep in mind when it comes to safety of web application with inputs from DNA.

How important is web security? The importance of web application cannot be emphasized more than this, that it is very important. Since the world is moving to an internet age, where everything is looped to the internet, the need for security is at the highest level. It is hard to contain the information available online since it is open to everyone with a computer. So, this is why everything from mobile application to bank transactions has a backend to the cloud, which at the moment is the safest thing there is. Since, everything is linked to HTTP.

How aware are people? Well with the amount of hacks there were in 2014, people are becoming more aware of the danger of loop holes in web applications. The real question is what is being done to secure the web or what is the level of awareness that people possess?

 These things are what need to be address and nothing will work without people realizing that they don’t the tools to keep hackers out. At the moment though organizations are doing everything to make sure that the information of their customers are safeguarded because this is something that could tear down companies.

How to beat the hackers: Talks with experts show that hackers are much more capable of hacking something they know will remain constant rather than that which keeps changing. For example, is it easier to hack a web application or a computer? Well, we all know that web application is going to be easier to hacker rather than a computer.

Also the other give-away for hackers is when unaware computer users accidentally click on the wrong button or open a wrong link then they expose their computer for hacking. So, be aware when you are updating your computers, mobiles and do not like on unknown links lest you leave your system exposed. Also, make sure your computer has the latest security firewall available in the market.

How can the layman have security? The thing with computers is that it seems hard to learn the basics of program writing but when actually studying it’s pretty easy. So, for all users try to read through basic HTTP protocols and try to understand the nuances of these computing programs. It seems like a handful but it really isn’t much I you look at it.

 Enhance your knowledge: For organizations, schools and firms, attending certain classes on web security would be a really good thing. It will allow people from the organization to keep a track on the security level without having to pay huge sums of money to external firms for security services. Also, it won’t hurt to learn something new. By the way, who knows you might just be really good at it and set up a security firm yourself.
