LiteManager Free: Access your Windows computer from another location

We are often on a hunt for tools capable of offering the ability to work simultaneously on several computers in different remote access modes and offers a wide range of tools for administration. There are many options out there to try out, LiteManager Free is one of them. It is a simple Windows-based program that lets you access your computer from another location.

LiteManager Free for Windows PC

The product is available in two versions
  1. LiteManager Free
  2. LiteManager Pro
The Free edition includes main functions and capabilities of the LiteManager program and offers upto 30 free licenses for remote access to 30 computers.
Installing the program is simple. However, the package includes 2 modules namely,
  1. Lite Manager Server
  2. Lite Manager Viewer

A user is instructed to install the server app on the system which he intends to monitor or would like to have remote access to. While its cousin, LiteManager Viewer needs to be installed on the system from where you want to access.
Upon completing the installation, a window appears on your computer screen where you have to enter your password. Following the security window, open the general tab under Options window. Here, you can modify some general settings as per your choice. For instance, you can chose to keep the icon in the system tray etc.

Once, you have the Server module configurations set up, switch to Viewer utility. Now to use the application you will be required to establish a connection. So, switch to new connection tab, specify all the details pertaining to the connection to access the server module.
If all goes well, you’ll observe the connection being set up to the server. The entire screen of the remote computer will be visible to your other system screen and you can see it working with your remote computer’s keyboard and mouse.
The GUI (Graphical User Interface) of the LiteManager is very straight forward and self-explanatory. It hardly requires any guidance.
You can download it here.
