ATM Card Issues And Their Solutions in DOP

1.1. Card is not activated
Issue Description: Card is not getting activated.
Solution: For the specified card, if it is personalized, check whether the kit number is entered. As per the functionality kit number should not be entered for personalized cards. Remove the kit number using modify mode in CCMM menu and proceed further. The card will be activated.
If any wrong details have been given, user can use Delete Mode to delete the already existing details and add the correct details again using ADD Mode in CCMM menu.
Check whether the card is in inactive status. If the card is in either Delivered or inactive status then only the card can be activated.

7th Pay Commission Latest News – CG Employees set to get 14.27% Hike – The hike in allowance has been delayed by at least four months.

The much awaited hiked salary of Central Government employees will be credited to their official salary account by August 1, 2016, as the recommendations made by 7th Pay Commission was approved on June 29 by the central government. More than 47 lakh Central Government employees eagerly waiting for the hike will get 14.27 per cent hike in the basic pay and not 23.5 per cent.
The hike in allowance has been delayed by at least four months. For which the government has formed a high level committee headed by finance secretary Ashok Lavasa to re-examine the hike in HRA, NP, DA and many other allowances for the employees.

ACCOUNT TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO SOLS IN DOP FINACLE

HACXFSOL stands for Account Transfer Between SOL

  1. According to SB Order 5/2016. The SOL Transfer will be proceeded at Head office only. 
  2. Customer will visit the home branch and submit the request for A/c transfer of his account from his branch to another CBS branch. 
  3. Home SOL will send the request of A/c Transfer in SB-10 B to Head office. 
  4. Supervisor of HO will validate the account details and then invoke HACXFSOL (Transfer Menu between CBS Sol’) menu and choose option “T-Transfer” and click Go button. 
  5. The screen appears like as 
  6. Super will then fill in the following details such as account number, Target sol id (To Sol (CBS Branch) where the account is going to be transferred) and press the submit button.

STANDING INSTRUCTION (HSSIM) IN DOP FINACLE

Standing Instruction In DOP Finacle

  • HSSIM stands for Standing Instruction Maintenance.
  • HSSIM command is used for SI from SB to RD in DOP Finacle
  • Note :- that for giving the standing instructions from TDA accounts(SCSS,MIS and TD) accounts to SB accounts we should not use this menu.
  • For giving the standing instructions for TDA accounts(SCSS,MIS and TD) accounts we have to go for account modification menu and enter the interest credit account as SB account number of the customer and submit and verify in the supervisor.

    7th Pay Commission Salary will be paid by the end of August 2016 – AIRF’s Clarification to its earlier release to the effect that Salary of July 2016 will be based on 7th Pay Commission recommendations

    Report by AIRF on New 7th pay commission salary – On 13.07.2016, Shri.Shiva Gopal Mishra, General Secretary, AIRF (All India Railwaymen Federation) has clarified to the effect that revised 7th Pay Commission recommended Pay will be paid by the end of August 2016, when Salary of August 2016 is due.
    This clarification has been issued by the Shri.Shiva Gopal Mishra who is also the convener of NJCA, the joint body of all Unions and Associations representing Central Government Employees, Railway Employees and Civilian Defence Personnel and Pensioners, in the wake of many queries raised with respect to his earlier release dated 08.07.2016, to the effect that Salary of July 2016 will be based on 7th Pay Commission recommendations.

    Consequent to the enactment of the ‘Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention,Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, this Department is considering issuing instructions for the grant of leave to the aggrieved woman during pendency of inquiry up to a period of three months in addition to the leave which she is otherwise entitled to.
    2. In this regard, it is proposed to insert/incorporate a new Rule in the CCS (Leave) Rules, 1972. The new rule may read as follows:

    Prcoedure for inquiring the average balance for an account in DOP finacle

    • Generally there is no option to inquire the average balance for an account in Sanchaypost but in DOP Finacle there is a menu for this purpose.
    • The menu option used for inquiring the average balance for an account is

    HABI (Average Balance Inquiry)

    Step by Step Procedure for Inquiring Average Balance
    • Invoke the menu HABI then the system will shown the below screen as shown

    Procedure to find the no of accounts opened scheme wise in a month in DOP Finacle

    • Generally in DOP we will submit the report number of accounts opened and number of accounts closed every month to DO.
    • In DOP Finacle also we can generate the number of accounts opened scheme wise only not product wise.
    • Most of them will have doubt what is scheme and what is product ?
    • The answer to the above question is as follows in DOP Finacle we have different products such as SB,RD,MIS,TD,SCSS,NSC,KVP,PPF and SSA. For each product in DOP Finacle we have different schemes as mentioned below
    •  If we consider SB product we have following schemes in DOP Finacle they are list below.
    1. SBBAS-----Savings Bank-- Basic Account

    • If we consider RD product we have following schemes in DOP Finacle they are list below.

    7th Pay Commission allowances – Common allowances to be examined separately

    7th Pay Commission Allowances – Clubbing of examination of Common Allowances such as House Rent Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Transport Allowance etc with lesser known and paid to few only allowances would cause more delay

    7th Pay Commission Allowances – It may be recalled that 7th Pay Commission abolished as many as 51 allowances after examining 196 existing Allowances and also subsumed 37 Allowances.
    As a result of such major change in 7th Pay Commission Allowances, Cabinet has decided that recommendations in respect of all the allowances are to be examined by a Committee headed by Finance Secretary.

    Pay hike now only in Basic Pay



    The government is likely to implement soon the new pay structure for central government employees excluding allowances, the compensatory perks for all employees.

    The the finance ministry officials said the Cabinet decided to constitute a Committee headed by Finance Secretary for further examination of the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission on allowances including HRA, transport allowance.

    The Committee will complete its work in a time bound manner and submit its reports within a period of 4 months, till a final decision, all existing allowances will continue to be paid at the existing rates, they added.

    No Dearness allowance (DA) will be paid in the new pay matrix (basic pay) as the existing dearness allowance 125 per cent has been merged with the new basic pay.
