Standard Operating Procedure of Atal Pension Yojana (APY) through Identified Post Offices
1. General
Any individual or existing Swavalamban Yojana subscriber who has completed 18 Years of age and is below 40 Years of Age on the day of applying can open APY account in any authorized CBS Post Office. The contribution for APY will be debited every month (if opted for monthly) or the first month of a quarter (if opted for Qutrly.) or first month of the Half Year (if opted for Half Yearly) from the subscriber Savings Account based on the Standing Instruction provided by the subscriber in APY Subscriber Registration Form. Under the APY, the subscribers would receive the fixed pension from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 5000 per month (Rs. 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000), at the age of 60 years, depending on their contributions. The contributions would vary as per the age of the subscriber on the day of joining APY and the pension amount opted by the subscriber. In addition, Government co-contribution (50% of the total contribution or Rs. 1,000/- per annum, whichever is lower) will be made available for 5 years, i.e., from the Financial year 2015-16 to 2019-20 for the subscribers who join the scheme up to 31st December, 2015 and who are not covered by any Statutory Social Security Schemes and are not Income Tax payers.

MP High Court takes a Great Decision about Quota in Govt Job Promotions
In a landmark verdict, the Madhya Pradesh high court has removed reservations for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes in government job promotions. This order is expected to affect over 30000 government employees and this verdict may serve base for similar verdicts in other states as well.
Before this verdict, 16% posts were reserved for scheduled castes during promotion and 20% were reserved fro scheduled tribes. This was set under the 2002 Madhya Pradesh Public service rules. The high court set aside this saying that this violates Supreme Court guidelines.

First DA hike in 7th Pay Commission starts from July 2016
First DA hike in 7th Pay Commission will start from July 2016. Because the 7th CPC has neutralized the total DA paid from 1.1.2016 for the purpose of arriving Fitment Formula. In which the commission anticipated that according to CPI for Industrial Workers, the rate of Dearness Allowance to be paid from 1st January 2016 would increase 6% from 119% to 125%.
As it was expected, 6% hike has been approved by Central government. Subsequently, after the issuance of Finmin order for Payment of enhanced DA, arrears to this effect has also been paid to govt servants. Order for Payment of Dearness relief to CG Pensioners also issued by Department of Pension and Pensioners welfare on 11th April 2016.

GRANT OF GRADE PAY OF RS.1800/- TO GROUP ‘D’ /MTS WHO RETIRED /EXPIRED FROM SERVICE AFTER 29.08.2008, WITHOUT HAVING BEEN IMPARTED TRAINING.
Sub: Grant of Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- to Group ‘D’ /MTS who retired /expired from service after 29.08.2008, without having been imparted training.

Reference have been received in this Directorate seeking guidelines as to how to determine the Grade Pay of those non-matriculate Group-D employees who retired or dies in harness after the notification of Revised Pay Rule,2008 but before being imparted the requisite training to be eligible for grant of Grade Pay of rs.1800/- in Pay Band-1.
2. The matter was referred to DGP&T/Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure. The Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance vide their ID No. 250446/15 dated 29.01.2016 has clarified the issue as under:

Good news: Over 2 lakh new central government jobs to be created by 2017
Good news for government job seekers.
In a good news for people seeking government jobs, over two lakh posts are estimated to be created by the Central government in its various departments.
The Central government has projected in the budget estimates for 2016-17 an increase of about 2.18 lakh in the existing workforce of 33.05 lakh, as in 2015, by 2017.
The Home Ministry will add 5,635 new jobs to take its strength to 22,006 in 2017. Similarly, there will be 47,264 new posts in police departments to take its total to 10,75, 341 in 2017 from 10,28,077 (its strength in 2015), it said.

- The error in Finacle while using in windows 8.1 PC with pre-loaded Internet Explorer 11, even after restoration brie Finacle settings. This is because of the compatibility issues with the browser.
- To solve this go to compatibility settings under tools in Internet Explorer and add the site indiapost.gov.in as shown in screenshot. This solves the above said problem.

Some time cheque book is not issued in Sanchay Post and data migration is also transform without it. We have to inquire such account before any transaction with check leaf.
