Once you completed the installation run the application and click onCreate a new backup plan.
Select the Backup storage location. Here you have to select the folder for storing your files. Try to configure the folder on a non-system drive that contains a large space so that you will not face a disk space problem. If you have any previous backup plan created, you can import the same plan through “Import the backup plan from existing backup” option.
The next step is the selection of the backup folder. In this option you have to select the folder or file that you want to back up.
The Show exclusion is the box that allows you to select the particular file that you don’t want in your backup. You can exclude that particular file but mention the file name and path in your backup plan.
If you are the only user accessing your personal data and computer then you may not feel the need for any password protection. However, if the data is on sharing computer then you can encrypt the backup file with a password.
You have 3 options to Schedule backup - No automatic backups, daily backup and weekly backup. Infirst option, no scheduling will be enabled to back up the data, though the other two options allow you to back up data on a daily basis or weekly basis.
After your configuration is complete, a summary window will appear. Here you can check the configuration of your backup plan. If you need to make any changes, you just require going back and making modifications according to your requirements. The final window will appear with Backup now, Change backup plan and Restore and delete option. You can select the option you need.
