Resume the sale of pre-printed NSC and KVP by post offices​.

Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, vide its OM Dated 8.4.2016 has now allowed sale of physical pre-printed NSC and KVP  by post offices​.

However, post offices either CBS or non CBS should place rubber stamps on NSC & KVP before handing over to the customer/Agent. Sample of rubber stamp is given below

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Payment of Dearness Allowance to Central Government employees - Revised Rates effective from 1.1.2016.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Ministry‘s Office Memorandum No. 1/3/2015-E-ll (B) dated 23rd September, 2015 on the subject mentioned above and to say that the President is pleased to decide that the Dearness Allowance payable to Central Government employees shall be enhanced from the existing rate of 119% to 125% with effect from 1st January, 2016.

Post Offices Shift To E-Certificates

Post offices in the city have discontinued issuing National Savings Certificates (NSC) and Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP) from April 1 in pre-printed form.

The Department of Posts plans to shift to electronic mode of issuing these certificates soon. At present, KVP certificates are issued under various denominations from Rs.1,000 to Rs. 50,000 and NSC at denominations up to Rs.10,000.

Postal Department officials said this was a tedious process as there was a lot of paper work involved in issuing each certificate.

For instance, if a customer invests Rs.10 lakh in KVP, 20 certificates under denomination of Rs.50,000 have to be issued.

GUIDELINES ON PARTLY POSTED TRANSACTIONS IN DOP FINACLE

Partly posted transaction will be created ( some scenarios) 

(1) If  Teller has no cash while doing withdrawal / closure transaction

(2) If account involved in the transaction has no sufficient fund 

(3) Selecting incorrect office account which funding 

(4) Using HTV , instead of using relevant product menus  

(5) Doing transactions with irrelevant or incorrect menus ( as a result of which scheme validation fails)

(6) Not using validate button and doing postings , bulk postings

(7) Without clearing validations in Inward clearing zone, and posting in HMICZ

Self Reset of User IDs Which are Already Logged in DoP Finacle

Now new amendment has been established in Finacle to reset the User IDs which are already logged in.

Procedure to reset your id when the error "User is already Login" occurs

• Click on Login button appears below the error "User is already Login" 
• Now a popup will appear showing "Do you want to reset the previous session and re-login" is displayed by web page like below screen shoot. 

 

System Administrator Menu : Change SOL ID In Finacle HCCS

SOL ID can be Changed using System Administrator Login. Change SOL is not possible for other Users like Counter PA, Supervisor.,

Procedure to Change of SOL ID :

7th CPC will be approved along with one increment in July

New Delhi: The cabinet is likely to approve the 7th pay commission award for central government employees in June for which the public exchequer will have to spend an additional amount of Rs 1.02 lakh crore.

However, there are no dearness allowances in their salary structure as the government recently announced 125 percent Dearness Allowance (DA) on which the pay panel recommended the 7th pay commission award.

Introducing a new provision of perks with the pay packet, the central government is also likely to give an increment, which is to be due in July, the month of implementation of pay commission recommendations for the central government employees, sources said. 

Discontinuation Of Physical Pre-Printed NSC And KVP Certificates

It is decided that the currently existing system of physical pre-printed certificates for KVP and NSC shall stand discontinued w.e.f. 1.4.2016 and shall be replaced by ‘National Savings Certificate/Kisan Vikas Patra Certificate on electronic - mode (e-mode). Till the CBS system transits to that e-mode, banks and post offices may choose to issue a physical certificate recorded on a passbook.
